first day in Athy

Dear All,

Our first day in Athy was very good. We had about 33 children and they were all very attentive.Jenni has joined us and took the lesson today. We are having a quick break for dinner and will have the group of teens tonite. It is always very challenging and so we ask that you pray for us as we prepare and teach them as well.Pray also for good social time as they meet with our teens and share.

the rain held off today and so we were able to have some soccer outdoors with the children as well as the activities indoor before the lesson and crafts. We are doing the wordless book and so today we made caterpillars and flowers with the wordless book colors

Yesterday we had a wonderful church service then a picnic made by the Forrests for us and a beautiful walk in the Glendalough Park. The team enjoyed the fresh air, scenery, swimming and medieval ruins as well as some trying to visit with the sheep.

Blessings and thanks to all of you for making this possible and continuing to keep all going at home.

jennifer
