Saturday Update

Hello Family and Friends,

We completed our first week in Carlow last evening. 30-36 children were there every day and we learned the pages of the wordless book, songs, and games. As you can see from the photos posted on the webpage we had a great time. The evening services were well attended and some of the children's parents came that had not previously been to the church. this was a definite answer to prayers as we want to enable the local Scots Presbyterian congregation as we serve.

All of the team is fine and today we will go to Dublin Airport to collect Jenni. Rosemary Brennan will meet us there as well to travel to Newgrange and Knowth for a tour today.

Please continue your prayers and encouragements.

Pray particularly for continued good health for all the team and local folks helping, for good relationships among the team and locals, for our lesson preparation next week with the teens and children, and safe travel.

Blessings,

Jennifer

Subject: Updates for Thursday nite from Carlow

Hello to all,

We are having a great week here in Carlow. The team is doing wonderfully well and have not missed a beat with the Children's clubs or the evening services. We have been doing the wordless book lessons this week and can't believe we finish the first week of clubs and evening gospel meetings tomorrow.  We have had around 35 each day and the weather has held pretty well. Rain is always expected but has not stopped any activities.

The team is learning a lot about each other, Irish Culture, and of course sharing God's love. some of the local youth are assisting us and they are all having a wonderful time comparing popular teen topics.

We will go to pick up Jenni on Saturday so please pray for safe travel for all and then we will take a visit to Newgrange and Knowth before heading back to our host homes.

The team will definitely be bringing back some extra weight from the great food this week arranged by the ladies from Scots Presbyterian in Carlow.

I will try to add some more pictures tomorrow.

Please pray for the children's club as we finish up the meetings tomorrow. Also pray for good health and no sickness as we keep going with not as much sleep as usual.

Praise for the wonderful encouraging evening services with local folks and outreach by the local church. So far Blake, Devin and Caroline have each shared their testimonies and Lucy is tomorrow nite.

Please lift up William Workman the local missionary as he transports us all.

Blessings,

Jennifer
