To Waterford Today
Hello everyone! I saw Michael off at the rail station in Newbridge this morning. It was an early wakeup, but it gave Michael a little extra time as he travels back home. In about 45 minutes we will say farewell to Eric Johnston as he departs for home from the rail station in Athy. Please be praying for Michael and Eric as they travel today and tomorrow. Jenni was able to arrange to stay with us for the second week so we are very grateful for that! Today after we pass out fliers in the community announcing next week's activities, we take a break from a very busy week of ministry to travel down to Waterford. It's about two hours south of here, so we will have some road time going and returning. I'm getting quite a bit of driving practice. I'll have to test for my Irish driving license so I won't be putting any of it to waste. :) Carl is feeling much better this morning. We took him to the doctor and he has strep throat. We got the proper prescriptions for him and gave him a day of rest yesterday. When I asked him if he felt up to going to Waterford today, it didn't take him any time to say yes. In fact, he seems quite peppy this morning. We are glad to see him and everyone else feeling well. Our last Gospel meeting went well last night. We had several people from the community join us for the service. Please pray especially for a gentleman named Gerald from Naas who attended regularly this week. He has had some really difficult times lately and is searching. Thank you for all of your prayers! Take care and have a great day! We'll post from Waterford. :)
