Thank you for praying for us! The ministry time went well yesterday, especially in the evening. At the afternoon Holiday Bible Club programme we had more kids today, so many that we had to pull out extra chairs. Early on the bulb in the projector went out, but William was able to run and get a replacement while we carried on. I was impressed with how our teens kept their composure and just continued on. In the evening session with the teens, we did not have the same disruption problems. The ones who had caused the problems on Monday night were not allowed in and this helped the ones who were interested be able to focus and hear the message in the songs, testimony and Christianity Explained video. Afterwards, we had a good time with the youth doing crafts, playing football (soccer) and hanging out with them. One of the cool things we have going this year is a dedicated prayer room that Claire Butler (a local girl from Athy who is getting married in August) set up with different stations that are meant to allow youth to express prayer in creative ways. We had a good prayer time together before the evening session. Again, thank you for praying for us! It makes such a difference! You would be very proud of your youth who are serving here. I know I am. They are working hard and being stretched and I pray that they would never see the world the same way again. It is a blessing to be part of the world-wide body of Christ and serve with our brothers and sisters here. It's hard to believe that we only have three days of ministry left, a day in Dublin and then our return flight on Sunday. Please pray that we will finish well and make the most of every moment.
