Wednesday Already?
Hello everyone! It's hard to believe it's Wednesday already. Our ministry times went well yesterday. We had a good response on the street as we handed out flyers letting people know about the kids club and evening services. Lindsey and Jake played guitar and several of us made balloons for the kids on the street. The Holiday Bible Club went well yesterday too and we had about ten more kids than on Monday and we are hopeful that the numbers will continue to grow. Our programme went well last night as well. So things are going smoothly and we are getting into a rhythm. Everyone is mostly well, though we do have a few people with sniffles and one with a sore arm from a previous injury. The weather was good for us yesterday and we would definitely ask for your prayers about the weather today and the rest of the week. On Thursday morning, one of the local people, Eamon, will be taking us for a tour around Carlow to see some of the sights we might normally miss. That will be a real treat. On Saturday morning, we will be going up to see Newgrange in County Meath. It's a neolithic tomb that predates the pyramids by 500 years and Stonehenge by 1000 years. Also on Saturday, we will transition from staying at Urglin Centre in Carlow to our host family homes in Athy. We also expect to have much more plentiful internet access each day at the recreation centre in Athy. Yesterday a few of you may have experienced a little difficulty with the blog. It seems that Blogger accidentally flagged our blog as a potential spam blog and I had to request a review quickly to get us off of the "locked" status. That is one of the reasons we didn't post as many entries. We should now be good to go. Well, I need to let the kids get a chance at the internet so I'll sign off for now. Thank you for your prayers and posts of encouragement! We appreciate you!
